In short: After visiting China during the relocation of families during the Three Rivers Gorge Dam project I witnessed elderly people dying early or slipping into deep depression after being displaced from their ancestral homes. Many elderly and young survivors of the quake are still in dire need of running water, toilet facilities, cooling areas and quake-proof homes.
